Vintage Halloween
Every year in October, The Franklin County Senior Citizens Center hosts its annual Halloween-themed party night. Dozens of senior citizens dress up and spend an evening dancing, singing and competing for the best costume award. "A lot of senior citizens don't have much of a social life and don't have many opportunities to socialize," said Mary Nuckols, the center's assistant director. "These parties are a real therapy for them."
